Mission, vision, learning outcomes of the Master’s Program in Educational Sciences
We intend to build a responsible and dedicated environment to quality teaching, scientific research, sustainable contribution to the community as well as supporting internationalization and ethnic and cultural diversity, to be a model for innovation in the field of education, at the local and international level.
Vision
The program’s vision is to be a center of excellence in the science of education, training thinkers, researchers, and curriculum developers who will be innovators and agents of positive change in the field of education. This will be achieved by using the latest scientific knowledge, innovative technology, and a deep focus on best pedagogical practices. Through strong partnerships with educational, scientific and community institutions, the program aims to build lasting connections and contribute to the development of education locally and globally.
The learning outcomes of the program have been developed with the level of the Qualifications Framework in mind. Upon completion of this program:
- Students research, identify challenges and critically analyze teaching practices using research methods to find solutions.
- Develop, evaluate and implement innovative curricula and teaching strategies that meet educational goals.
- Implement effective quality teaching methods by integrating learning technologies and innovations.
- Develop the skills of design, implementation, analysis and interpretation of qualitative and quantitative research in the field of education.
- Implement efficient classroom management strategies.
- Develop leadership skills and contribute to awareness and professional development in the field of education.
- Develop communication and teamwork skills in educational environments.
- Use information and communication technologies to improve teaching by adapting their practices to the digital context.
- Master the skills on cultural and linguistic diversity by adapting to the needs of a diverse group of students.
- Implement standards for creating a friendly environment for teaching and learning, based on an understanding of the relationship between curriculum theory and policies;
- Examine and implement contemporary models in the student assessment process, teacher assessment, school assessment and the curriculum as a whole.
- Critically examine and contribute to the teaching and curriculum development processes through involvement in the professional development activities of teachers and the relevant educational requirements of the legislation;
